You read it right, the riot starts at 6pm, Sat 11 Sept 2010, upstairs at the Annandale Hotel on Parramatta Rd, just west of Sydney’s CBD. The opening night of artRiot 2010 will including performances, opportunities to change the world, radical works from across Sydney and a chance to speak to the artists who make it all happen.
artRiot is a new artist’s collective creating meaningful art that is honest, uncompromising and dangerous in a way that dares audiences to believe in a radically different world. We are digging up, bringing together and exhibiting the underground of creative political expression. We are an interdisciplinary group working across mediums as diverse as subversive bluegrass, documentary photography and interactive installation. We strive to continue a tradition of art that challenges the way we live and has changed the world.
Our key aim is to promote and support art that helps create radical social change.
We are an open collective and invite participation from artists in the greater Sydney area.

OPENING NIGHT OF SUPER NATURE EXHIBITION
The "SUPER NATURE" show featuring my 'cyborg insects' opened to great success. We had a large number of people check out the exhibit. Thanks for all those that came and said hello. Here are the pics from the night.
